The hood of the car can be, at your discretion and with consultation of the chauffeur, either up or down depending on the weather. The chauffeurs’ decision on the car and safety of passengers regarding this matter is final. A hard top is available if requested, however, a minimum of 4 days’ notice is required prior to the event.
A £100 non-refundable deposit is payable on completion of the initial booking and receipt of booking information in order to confirm the event reservation date. This fee books your chosen date for your wedding. We will not book another wedding on that date. It also covers time taken to process your booking and follow-up calls/emails to verify details. Full payment is required if booking is made within 7 days of the hire date.
Booking forms are to be returned within 10 days of dispatch in order to confirm the reservation date. Requested dates cannot be held after this due to demand.
Full and final payment of the remaining balance is to be made no later than 4 weeks prior to the wedding.
Cancellation of a booking:
In the event of cancellation, all holding payments are non-refundable. Full payment is non-refundable and still payable if hire is cancelled within 4 weeks of the hire date. Full payment must be made at least 4 weeks before the hire date.
In the event of a mechanical breakdown (or other unforeseen circumstance), an alternative car will be offered if available, or a full refund made as full and final payment as compensation. No other payments or correspondence will be entered into.
The Beauford has a removable front seat which we always recommend removing as this makes access easier and gives more room for dresses, but this means the car only seats 2 passengers. By arrangement, the seat can be added meaning the Beauford can seat 3 passengers if required. Full 3-point seat belts are fitted to the front seats and lap belts in the rear seats.
Any damage caused to the vehicle by the hirer will be notified either at the time or as soon as reasonably possible. Repair costs will be assessed by a reputable company for reimbursement by the hirer. If the vehicle is left in an unreasonable condition, the company reserves the right to recharge for valet costs. This includes (but is not limited to) spillage of food and/or drink or illness. The minimum cost of a valet is £50, but this may increase depending on consequential damage.
Children aged 13 years and under must be accompanied by at least one adult. We do not transport children under 3 years old.
